Tobacco jar, vintage turned wooden box from the 40s-50s

Beautiful vintage tobacco jar or wooden box from the 40s-50s, relatively dark turned wood, varnished, handcrafted. Cylindrical body with rings and lid with round button. 17-18cm max height with lid, 11.5-12cm without, approximately 12.5cm in diameter. Good general condition, patinated by time, peeling of the varnish in areas, notably on the lid, some lack of varnish on its edges. Harmonious ensemble however, clean interior, smells of old tobacco.
