Postmodern Floor Lamp Model Pao F by Matteo Thun for Arteluce, Italy, 1990s

The floor lamp version of the Pao lighting series by Arteluce, designed by Matteo Thun. This is the version with a film embedded in the glass base. The Pao lamps impress with their characteristic diffuser and frosted glass base. What makes this design so elegant is the combination of glass and wood. The cherry wood body harmonises with the white glass and the silver metal parts of the lamp. Unfortunately, the Pao lamps are no longer in production and are therefore rare.
