Onyx and Travertine Table Lamp Base

Period: c. 1960s. This table lamp base consists of a square base and a cuboid stem made of a brownish-green onyx stone combined with layers of travertine (these two stones can be found combined in nature). The stone parts are connected by brass fittings, with the fluted stem being gilded (but slimmed down). The lampshade in the photo is for presentation purposes and is not sold with the lamp. The wiring is suitable for European voltage (230 volts - 50 Hz). Condition: good. No damage. Dimensions: 25 cm high without socket, 30.5 cm high with socket, 10 x 10 cm base, 0.66 kg.
