Arcopal Volcan salad bowl in caramel-orange glass, 1970s.

Here is a large dish or salad bowl from the Volcan collection of the famous brand Arcopal, made of moulded glass in caramel orange tones, typical of the 1970s, with a slight ribbed relief. The advantage of this collection is that the colouring is done throughout the material, so there is no risk of the patterns fading unlike other Arcopal designs. This collection dates back to 1970. Its flared shape is elegant and practical. This salad bowl has the inscription "Arcopal France" under the base. It is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks, or even scratches; it seems it has not been used often, if at all. It measures 5.5 cm in height and 28 cm in diameter.
