Vintage neoclassical table lamp in brass

Mid-century table lamp from the mid-20th century. A neoclassical Empire-style base made of solid brass and gilded bronze, featuring beautiful chiselling work (fluted column base) and a lovely natural shine. The lampshade, a true artisanal gem made from original pig bladder, has a perfectly taut organic membrane with no cracks or tears, and boasts a stunning honey patina that diffuses an extremely warm, soft, and muted light. The finish is remarkable with vertical stitching, and the upper and lower edges are adorned with a scalloped textile and original gold metallic trim. Very chic and perfectly preserved. Please note a small mark on the base.
