Ceramic box with lid engraved in 24 carat gold and silver - the art of chokin is a very old form of japanese pictorial engraving which consists of engraving copper and then gilding it with gold and silver - these engravings originally decorated the armament of samurai warriors - rather rare black body with gold line on the perimeter at the bottom - very good condition (several reflections on the photos but the box is perfect) – decoration of a beautiful effect, case to keep your jewelry or small treasures – made in japan – second half of the twentieth century - dimensions height 4 cm diameter 7 cm approximately.
