A rare model 66 side chair or desk chair designed by Alvar Aalto in the late 1930s. This chair has an early brown stamp to the underside (very light but visible). It also has the early finger-joints to the sides of the seat construction and the five laminate supports on the bend of the leg. This is an early production example with a great colour. The surface of the chair has been sympathetically refinished. The shipping quotes shown are for the chair to be dismantled and sent flat-packed for easier and safer shipping.
