Armchair in solid wood and straw, 19th century

Rustic armchair in a country style, heavily inspired by Louis XV style or traditional Provençal/regional furniture. The backrest is high with horizontal rungs cut in a gendarme hat shape. The traditional woven straw seat is in good condition and well-tensioned. The legs and stretchers are made of turned wood (typical turning work of regional furniture). The front rail features a geometric carved pattern. The structure is made of solid stained oak. The whole is sturdy and in good condition. Width 62, depth 56, height 111/47.
