Ancient Japanese tea service

Magnificent complete tea service in hand-painted Japanese porcelain, dating from the 1950s. The set is richly decorated with colourful bird and foliage patterns, featuring delicately iridescent finishes. The service includes 22 pieces: 1 teapot with its lid, 1 sugar bowl with its lid, 10 cups, and 10 saucers. The set is in very good overall condition. One cup and one saucer have slight discreet nicks on the rim. It is also worth noting that the glaze has slightly yellowed in places due to age, which attests to its authenticity and highlights its retro charm. Ideal for an elegant table or for collectors of vintage Asian tableware. As it is fine and fragile porcelain, the dispatch will be carried out quickly and carefully. Special attention will be given to the packaging (bubble wrap and reinforced cushioning) to minimise transport risks. Hand delivery is also possible and preferred to avoid any delivery-related risks.
