Old Indian carved wooden window

Antique architectural window made of carved solid wood, probably from northern India, consisting of two small opening shutters and their original frame. A very beautiful handcrafted piece featuring an openwork upper frieze carved with plant motifs and scrolls, as well as interesting moulding work. The two panels retain their old ironwork, with nails and a central locking system. The traditional joinery, irregularities in the wood, and patina testify to its antique character. The wood has a very beautiful brown patina, with variations in shade, marks, and wear due to time, which add to the charm of this architectural element. Estimated dating: 19th / early 20th century, to be confirmed. Probable origin: North India / Rajasthan, without documented provenance. A rare decorative piece full of character, ideal as wall decoration, architectural element, console top, or composition in an antique, bohemian, or contemporary interior. Condition: good antique condition, with wear, marks, patina, and irregularities consistent with age and handcrafted production. Sold in its current state, without recent restoration.
