Baumann living room, 1910, bench, armchair and bistro chair

Antique bentwood furniture from 1910 by Walter Baumann. A renowned manufacturer established in Colombier-Fontaine in the Doubs region of France in 1903. Set includes one two-seater bench, one armchair, and one chair. This set is handcrafted, with a bentwood frame and reinforced solid wood armrests and backs. The seats are made of solid wood, while the backs feature openwork wood with geometric patterns. The legs are curved for stability. This high-quality furniture is crafted from bentwood and painted black, with a clean and functional design. A very old paper label, "W. Baumann & Cie," is located under the seat, but it is barely legible as it is covered by the black paint. Dimensions: Bench: W123cm x D46cm; Armchair: W60cm x D48cm; Chair: W50cm x D58cm. All three seats have the same height: 92cm. Seat height 47 cm. 0403011as.
