This beautiful engraving is entitled "marché de campagne" and was made by af. Bargas (1659-17...), a painter and engraver of the late 17th and early 18th centuries. This print depicts a market scene in a port landscape, where a ship is seen loading goods onto the docks. In the background of the print is a large stone building, probably an abbey. In the background, on the right, is a fortified stone bridge. Frame dimensions: 55 cm wide (21.55 inches) and 41 cm long (16.14 inches). Flemish school, Around 1700.
