Old pine workbench completely stripped, 1940

An old workbench made of solid fir from the 1940s, fully stripped to reveal the light and natural colour of the wood. We love its sturdy construction, thick top, and simple lines, typical of old trade furniture. It features two front drawers, equipped with lovely metal shell handles. The wood retains the marks, traces, and irregularities accumulated over the years, giving it a lot of character. A beautiful old workbench, as decorative as it is functional, which could also be repurposed as a console, an entrance piece, and could even find its place in a kitchen.
