French tall wooden carved open weave barley twist table lamp base

Beautiful vintage french hand carved wood open barley twist table lamp base circa 1940s. The base of the lamp is round with the central column hand carved in a open weave barley twist design. The shade and bulb holder are black plastic.the lamp is in good vintage condition with light marks associated with a used item of its kind. The lamp is working with french twin core wiring with a gold flex, brown and cream on/off button and a brown 2 pin european plug. It takes a large screw in bulb.we recommend that all elecrical items are checked and fitted by a qualified electrician in your own country to comply with local safety standards.
