French coffee table with pink marble top and Limoges plaques, ca. 1950

France / 1950 / coffee table / wood, pink marble / empire. A round veneered coffee table with pink marble top in empire style. Made in france around 1950. The wooden frame was decorated with delicate painted porcelain limoges plaques set in gilt bronze mounts framed by fine bronze trims and bronze ornaments all around the top edge. The circular pink marble top has wonderful patterns. The table rest on four graceful legs with bronze feet. In overall good condition with small signs of age due to time and use. With its perfect size and luxurious design this coffee table is a stylish centerpiece in your interior. Ref. 24-0276.
