Rare set of five brutalist metal vases. Tubular shape in brushed steel with decorative bands featuring a rough texture that creates a geometric pattern. German work from the 1960s or 70s attributed to BMF (Bayerische Metallwarenfabrik), embodying both a futuristic and brutalist spirit. Heavy and high-quality, four vases on pedestals and one larger, tubular vase. Smallest and lowest: maximum height approximately 23.5 cm, tube diameter 3.2 cm, base diameter 7 cm. Second, thinner and slightly taller: maximum height approximately 26.5 cm, tube diameter 3.7 cm, base diameter 5.5 cm. Wider base embossed: maximum height approximately 23.7 cm, tube diameter 5.5 cm, base diameter approximately 5.7 cm. Wider and taller: maximum height approximately 26.7 cm, tube diameter 4.2 cm, base diameter approximately 5.8 cm. Vase without a pedestal: maximum height 24.2 cm, maximum diameter approximately 7 cm. Vintage objects from the latter half of the 20th century (1960s-1970s) made in Germany and of high quality, in very good condition for their age. No major defects, slight signs of use, a few small scratches that are not very visible except up close (especially at the bottom of the vase). See contractual and additional photos for description.
