Magnificent umbrella stand (or walking stick holder) from the 19th century, made entirely of patinated cast iron. With a superb authentic design (Napoleon III / Bistro style), this utilitarian and highly decorative item will add a touch of retro elegance to an entrance, vestibule, or corridor. Design & Material: Very solid and heavy structure, made of 100% cast iron, ensuring perfect stability. Moulded heart-shaped / twisted loop handle for easy grip. Upper grid featuring 4 main compartments for your umbrellas or canes, complemented by side hooks/rings. Base with a drip tray receptacle with twisted details (rope pattern) to retain water. Finish: Beautiful original antique patina in dark shades (bronze / black iron). Condition: Very good used condition for its age. Displays a superb patina of time with slight natural oxidation that gives it all its character (see photos). Structure perfectly sound and robust.
