I am selling this magnificent wall painting signed by Jacques Poli, an abstract work that will bring character and depth to your interior. This acrylic on canvas is a diptych with an upper part resembling a pediment and a larger canvas below. The painting is signed J.Poli 87. Dimensions are 168cm X 164cm, highlighting a wall. Jacques Poli was a French painter born on 1st July 1938 in Nîmes and died on 12th April 2002 in Paris. An emblematic figure of French painting, he is part of the artistic landscape of the second half of the 20th century with a unique approach to narrative figuration. A graduate of the École des beaux-arts in Avignon and the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris, he evolved alongside artists such as Claude Viallat and Daniel Buren. Throughout his career, Jacques Poli constantly explored and renewed forms and motifs, oscillating between expressive figuration and bold abstraction.
