Fine bisque porcelain holy water font with two angels, antique, 1900-1930, Germany

Magnificent and rare antique wall-mounted holy water font, early 20th century (1900-1930), made of white porcelain biscuit. Baroque style. A very high-quality German manufacture, marked "Germany" on the reverse with a painted blue monogram reminiscent of Meissen-inspired pieces from the early 20th century. A rather rare model depicting two angels in high relief holding a large, glazed shell-shaped holy water font, glazed on the inside to hold the holy water. The biscuit porcelain is very fine, translucent in the light, with delicate drapery, gentle faces, and finely detailed wings—a remarkable display of craftsmanship. It measures 20 cm high, 14 cm wide, and 8 cm deep. In good overall condition, with a few minor losses: a few fingers are missing from the right hand, and there is a chip on the top of the toes of the right angel's back foot, as well as a chip on the toes of the left angel's front foot. These are relatively discreet flaws; the rest of the piece is impeccable. There are no cracks or repairs, and the shell is intact. Approximately 650-700 grams.
