Set of 6 Scandinavian teak chairs – 1960s

Very elegant set of six Scandinavian teak chairs from the 1960s, featuring the fine and organic lines characteristic of Nordic design from this period. The design is particularly successful: the slightly curved and sculpted backrest, slender uprights, and tapered legs give these chairs a silhouette that is both light and very graphic. The teak structures display beautiful reddish-brown hues and a lovely grain. The six seats have been completely reupholstered, with a dark fabric featuring a subtle tone-on-tone floral pattern, chosen to maintain the elegance and sobriety of the whole. The proportions and the work on the backrest evoke the Danish creations of Otto Møller, without formal attribution due to the absence of marking.
