French Barbotine Majolica Serving Platter with Vine Leaf and Basket Weave Motif

A vintage french majolica platter made in the barbotine style (using liquified clay to mould and decorate pottery). It features a green vine leaf motif with a white basket weave pattern as its background. This platter was originally part of a set of a drainer plate and an asparagus serving dish. Length: 31.6 cm. Width: 21 cm. Height: ca. 3.5 cm. Weight: ca. 760 gram. In immaculate condition. Signed on the bottom (see photos).
