Pair of Louis XV style wall lights - Lucien GAU, Paris

Very beautiful pair of 1-light Louis XV style wall lights, from the famous French bronze maker: Lucien GAU. Manufacturer from Faubourg Saint Antoine, in Paris. Manufactured in the second half of the 20th century. Bronze construction. Original gilding and patina, superb condition. Note, on the side of a wall light, in a carving, a small, barely visible stain (see penultimate photo). Decorated with acanthus leaves and scrolls. They are electrified and tested (for E14 bulb). Cardboard candles, good condition (a few slight losses). They are stamped on the back: "LG", for Lucien Gau (see last photo). The manufacturer's labels are still present.
