Large Bresse sideboard

Bressan display cabinet of regional tradition, from the late 18th or very early 19th century. Characteristic elements: Overhanging cornice and undulating façade. Sober sculpted decoration with a central floral medallion. Curved shelves typical of popular furniture from Eastern France. Three doors at the bottom with moulded panels. Dark-stained chestnut wood, common in regional furniture. Upholstered back: probably a later addition. (Can be removed) In very good condition consistent with its age.
