Beautiful faience plate with relief decoration depicting a trompe-l'œil spider crab, produced in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal, vintage work from the mid-20th century, 1960s-70s. Very expressive and naturalistic decoration with shells, seaweed, and a textured background, in a rich polychromy typical of this manufacturer, in the spirit of Bordallo Pinheiro's productions. Diameter 25cm, height approximately 7cm. Very good overall condition, with a discreet chip at the back, not visible from the front. Approximately 1.5kg.
