Elegant silver-plated bowl / centrepiece with a cord decoration and tassels – Made in France. Very beautiful silver-plated bowl / basket from French craftsmanship, ideal as a centrepiece, fruit bowl, or large decorative catch-all. It is distinguished by its scalloped edge and its lovely relief frieze forming a knotted cord finished with two tassels in the style of passementerie. Origin: France (stamped with MADE IN FRANCE and a square silversmith's mark). Dimensions: Diameter: 23.5 cm. Height: 12 cm. Condition: Generally good vintage condition. Beautiful shine and lovely patina of time, with very discreet micro-scratches consistent with its age.
