Magnificent antique vegetable dish in ironstone, signed Clairefontaine LG, decorated in the Montespan style. An elegant and authentic model with its superb delicately floral blue decoration, typical of the late 19th century. A charming piece, ideal as a centrepiece or to complement an antique service. Period: late 19th century. A characterful piece, rare in this complete format with its lid. Generally good condition for its age. No major cracks or missing parts. A few discreet small chips on the lid handle and on the body (see photos). Lid slightly askew (old artisanal manufacturing). Beautiful interior patina reflecting its history.
