Beautiful is an imposing shepherdess very comfortable, made of solid mahogany and covered in elegant luxurious fabric. It is of English manufacture and was purchased, like the FURLONG table currently for sale, by a couple of Lebanese intellectuals living in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, directly in England from an antique dealer. It rests on 4 sturdy and curved legs at the front, topped with floral motifs that complement the generous carved garland at the top of the backrest. The armrests are magnificent and evoke the Art Nouveau style with their organic, almost knotted appearance. The seat is very comfortable and in superb condition, with only one small pale stain on the seat (see photo) which has little impact. The rest of the piece is impeccable. A rich piece that will immediately stand out in a more modern, even designer, interior, as it has retained its rich patina and strong personality. H: 101 cm. D: 90 cm. W: 70 cm. Seat height: 38 cm.
