Annie Hieronimus, French designer of lacquered furniture
Annie Hieronimus is a French designer active in the 1970s and 80s, whose production of lacquered furniture fits within the great French decorative movement of the Seventies. Closely linked to Roche Bobois and other high-end Parisian publishers, she signed coffee tables, consoles and occasional furniture where deep lacquer, chromed metal structures and smoked glass inserts compose a recognisable signature, in the vein of Jean-Claude Mahey and Pierre Vandel. A confidential production with a precious signature.
Annie Hieronimus lacquered coffee tables and consoles, with chromed structure and glass tops, remain her most identifiable pieces. French vintage furniture to find for those wanting a refined Parisian Seventies signature, in the Vandel-Mahey vein.
