Deserted furniture painted and signed Anita 15/12/14 for 1914. Deserted Art Nouveau painted dated and signed Anita 15/12/14 for 1914. The furniture has two trays with two painted scenes. The main plateau: has a Navy in the background with ships at the French and Spanish pavilions? And in the foreground a portrait of a woman with the harp. Is this an allegorical scene? Knowing that the date of the painting is later (12/14) and close enough to the beginning of the first World War (07/14). The secondary plateau is a river and mountain scene with three people on a boat. The glass screwed on the first tray is scratched in places and broken on two opposite angles (visible in the photos). Apart from the sharp breaks there is no noticeable crack of the glass. The scenes of paintings have lived and contain some wear and very slight misses but the whole of the work is preserved and does not leave indifferent. The wood also lived more than 100 years already. The furniture is stable. It has been treated in its entirety. The old paint is sensitive to temperature fluctuations, do not place objects too hot on it and do not store it in a greenhouse or under a window because the sunlight with the magnifying effect of the glass will damage the paint.
