Oak sofa with original green mélange fabric upholstery. Scandinavian production, 1950s/60s. Scandinavian three-seat sofa produced during the 1950s/60s, featuring an oak structure with light and balanced proportions. The frame reflects the essential language of Nordic modernism, with tapered legs, slender armrests and a visually airy construction defined by clean and carefully balanced lines. The backrest is composed of three separate slightly reclined elements, a solution that articulates the volume of the sofa while maintaining a regular and well-balanced composition, also from the rear view. The solid teak armrests feature a soft profile gradually tapering towards the ends, a detail characteristic of Scandinavian production from the period. The original green mélange fabric upholstery retains a strongly textured surface that creates an interesting contrast with the smooth warm teak surfaces. The continuous seat and compact upholstery contribute to the restrained and linear appearance of the piece, reinforcing the balance between structural lightness and volumetric presence. Good conditions. It may show signs of age and light wear consistent with time. Please pay attention to the photographs. AG293.
