Charcoal drawing by Henry Bataille XXth couple of dancers

Here is a couple of dancers made in charcoal by henry bataille, french playwright, poet and lithographer (1872-1922). Bataille illustrated some of the posters of his plays and executed numerous engravings on copper and wood. The technique and movement of this work are beautifully made. For the condition, we report stains on the protective glass, a corner of the broken frame (top left), some and freckles and stitching on the drawing. However, the work remains in a presentable state.
