Very important handmade wool rug with a design of panels and diamonds. YALAMEH. Dimensions 400 X 300 cm. Originating from the Fars province in Iran, Yalameh rugs are the result of a centuries-old nomadic weaving tradition. Made primarily by the Kashkuli tribes, they reflect an ancestral know-how passed down through generations. Their geometric patterns and colour harmonies draw inspiration from the mountainous landscapes and cultural heritage of these communities. Yalameh rugs are distinguished by the fineness of their knotting and the richness of their geometric compositions.
