Designed by Swedish designers from the 50s and 60s, Johan Huldt and Jan Dranger. In 1968, Huldt and Dranger founded the company Innovator. In the early 70s, Dranger and Huldt achieved great success with robust steel tube furniture and brightly coloured industrial-style lamps. They had a desire early on to change the Swedish furniture industry. Both are concerned with social justice and grew tired of traditional furniture design. They wanted to move away from brown furniture that costs several months' salary for the average worker. Their reaction was to create affordable furniture for their own generation. Something that appeals to young people and adds colour to everyday life. Otherwise, as it was said: "they wanted to make furniture the jeans." At the same time, they are concerned with the ideas of functionalism. The design should be easy to understand and the construction logical. In 1977, Innovator was dissolved. The chair is in good vintage condition, showing slight signs of wear and aging, but remains structurally sound. Height 87 cm, depth 75 cm, width 57 cm, seat height 40 cm. Footrest 58 X 55 cm.
