Vintage 1960s oak chest of drawers, unusual with its delicately sloped profile. This elegant chest opens with 4 drawers, carefully designed with sloped fronts that provide a unique visual dynamic. The drawers, each equipped with brass and black Bakelite handles, combine practicality and aesthetics. The body rests on four large slanted legs, known as compass legs, which give this model a lot of character. These legs, in addition to adding style to the atypical and slightly sloped design, are reinforced by a cross beam enhancing the overall stability. Chest made of oak veneer with a solid wood top edge, offering a superior quality finish. The legs and lower frame are made of solid wood, ensuring long-term durability and robustness. This chest has been carefully and attentively renovated, the wood has been meticulously sanded and left natural, highlighting its beautiful grain, ready to be painted for those who enjoy upcycling and decoration. A lack of veneer on one edge has been compensated, visible in the last photo. Designed to suit both adults and children, it offers functionality and style suitable for all ages. To ensure minimal maintenance and preserve the chest's shine over time, we can, upon request, protect it with a satin finish varnish that will enhance the wood's grain, at no extra cost, thus providing an elegant and durable finish. Additionally, the cream-coloured adhesive paper inside has been retained, adding a touch of softness and harmony to the whole. Dimensions: Length: 92 cm.
