Eames EA208 Soft Pad Chair Herman Miller 1970s

Eames Soft Pad Chair, designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1969 and produced by Herman Miller, circa 1970s. Featuring a swivelling four-star aluminium base, chrome-plated armrests and black fabric upholstery with the characteristic padded seat and back cushions. The slender metal frame contrasts nicely with the generously cushioned and comfortable seat. The chrome remains in remarkably good condition with only minimal signs of use. Retains a Herman Miller label underneath as well as a Vitra / Eames label to the upholstery. In good vintage condition with signs of use consistent with age, including some local wear and fading to the fabric. Please be advised: Four chairs available, price per piece.
