Vintage wall shelf in bamboo and rattan, circa 1960s.

Vintage wall shelf, mid-century, made of bamboo and rattan, from the 1960s. The structure is entirely made of bamboo and features a fluid and streamlined design with bent wood, extending from the top to the sides; the back has two ladder-shaped elements. The shelf is made of woven rattan, reminiscent of wicker (see photos). The piece showcases a rich chocolate brown/burnt bamboo hue. It is equipped with two hooks at the back for easy wall mounting (see photos). The whole is in very good original condition; there are some slight marks, small areas where the colour is slightly faded, as well as signs of age and normal use, accompanied by a natural patina on the structure, sides, shelf, back, and base (see photos). The piece has simply been gently cleaned, oiled, and waxed, respecting its original patina. All photos were taken outdoors in natural light; colours may therefore vary depending on brightness, stone reflections, angles, and perspective. DIMENSIONS: H: 24 cm X W: 44 cm X D: 17 cm.
