(centrepompidou.fr) Graphical structure in glossy burgundy lacquered metal, characterised by its continuous uprights with rounded corners forming both the base and the armrests. Seat and backrest combined in a shell with soft lines, fully upholstered in cognac leather, creating a particularly elegant contrast with the deep hue of the structure. A typical design of Gae Aulenti's work in the 1970s, blending architectural geometry, generous curves, and attention to materials. The "Orsay" model is part of the Aulenti Collection developed for Knoll. (Dominique de Paillerets) 3 units available — sold individually. General vintage condition is good, with signs and marks of use consistent with age, including some small losses on the lacquer and leather. DIMENSIONS: Chair 57x50 height 80cm.
