Solid oak lounge chair — rebuilt in 100% virgin wool

A striking vintage lounge chair with a heavy solid oak frame, visible joints and an honest, architectural construction. The original cushions were rebuilt and reshaped to create a lighter and more balanced appearance. They are now more refined, allowing them to sit within the frame rather than dominate it. Upholstered in 100% virgin wool and honestly finished with a single simple button in the back cushion. The contrast between the robust oak frame and the soft wool upholstery is what gives the chair its character: heavy and light, hard and soft, structure and comfort. The result is a very comfortable lounge chair with a strong sculptural presence, while the rawness and visible construction of the oak remain an essential part of the design.
