Iconic moka pot of postmodern Italian design. Model "La Cupola" designed by architect Aldo Rossi for Alessi in 1988. Body made of cast aluminium with a matte black finish (a colour that is no longer produced). Architectural silhouette in the shape of a dome topped with a sphere. Rectangular handle at a right angle made of bakelite/heat-resistant material. An iconic piece of Italian design from the late 20th century, included in design collections (MoMA, Centre Pompidou). Dimensions: H23.5 X ∅8 X D with handle 13.5cm.
