Modernist vase carafe Saint Clément 1960s

Ceramic vase-carafe from Saint-Clément, French production from the mid-20th century, probably the 1950s/60s. Its sculptural and very graphic silhouette, characterised by a wide central opening forming a handle and an asymmetrical spout, is typical of the modernist design of this period. Particularly decorative decoration combining a bright anise green with large very dark brown curves, applied in gradient. Marked Saint-Clément / France in relief under the base with model number. Dimensions: height 30 cm – maximum width/diameter approx. 14 cm. Very good overall condition, with only slight manufacturing irregularities and normal traces related to its age.
