Art Deco Jug "Carlos" - Royal Gouda (Holland)

Authentic Dutch earthenware jug / pitcher, hand-painted, from the Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland (PZH) factory in Gouda. Piece from the 1930s, late Art Deco period. Complete markings under the base (model number 3170, crown stamp "Royal Gouda", decorator's signature "K" and workshop symbol). Floral and geometric Carlos decoration, green glazed interior. Large sinuous handle that extends beyond the neck of the jug. Total height (to the top of the handle): 24 cm. Height (to the neck of the jug): 19 cm. Base diameter: 15 cm. Impeccable condition: no chips, no nicks, no restoration or cracks. A rare item in this state of freshness for its age (nearly 90 years).
