Beautiful fireplace set consisting of a pair of wrought iron and brass chenets accompanied by its pierced cast iron firewood holder. The chenets feature an elegant vertical architecture adorned with turned brass finials and decorative rings. They rest on wrought iron bases with wide scrolls, designed with sobriety and balance. The side crossbars support the firewood holder and protect the hearth. At the centre is a cast iron firewood holder with a pierced Gothic-inspired design, resting on two supports richly decorated with scrolls and stylised foliage. The combination of fire-blackened wrought iron and patinated brass gives the set a remarkable decorative presence, ideal for an antique fireplace or a characterful interior.
