Vintage sorting furniture from the 70s / 30 drawers - industrial / workshop / haberdashery

Robust cream lacquered metal furniture, used for document storage. It includes 2 rows of 15 drawers, totalling 30 drawers for A4 documents. The drawers are made of rigid plastic with removable fronts in different colours: Blue, Green, Yellow, and Orange, typical colours of the 1970s. This compact piece of furniture is easy to place in any interior, it is sturdy, and very practical for document storage in an office (iconography, drawings, photos) or in a creative workshop: sewing, DIY, models, Lego, etc. The vintage colours give it a very decorative character. Furthermore, it is a Made in France piece from the VAL-REX brand, established in 1963 in Vaucluse (Valréas), specialising in the manufacture of office and shop furniture. Val-Rex ceased its activities in 1995. This company is representative of the French industrial fabric of professional furniture in the 20th century. The furniture is in very good overall condition. Some chips are noted on the paint, and the fronts of the 2 bottom drawers have been replaced with rigid grey cardboard. There is also a chip in the plastic of one of these 2 drawers (defects visible in the photos). Dimensions: L 60 X D 36 X H 105 cm. Internal dimensions of the drawers: L 24.5 X D 33 X H 5 cm.
