Pastoe Ruster by Yngve Ekstrom armchair - mid century modern

Very beautiful dark red armchair, designed by Yngve Ekström. Pastoe imported these chairs and included them in its own collection. Beautiful and very comfortable Ruster armchair designed by the top Swedish designer Yngve Ekström for the company Swedese and sold in the Netherlands in their own collection by the well-known company Pastoe. This is the model with the high backrest, the so-called gentlemen's model. The original design of the Ruster armchair was part of the Mingo series and designed for Swedese in Sweden. The model was also included in the Pastoe catalogues from the 1960s under the model name FT08 as a series of very modern Scandinavian furniture. It has been restored to better than new condition, using the finest materials by the best craftsmen, the recently applied upholstery is nice and tight. The entire filling has also been replaced with the best foam in the right amount, so the original looks have been preserved but the chair now has a contemporary, comfy and soft seating comfort.
