Minton is a former British ceramic and porcelain manufacturer founded in 1793 in Staffordshire. The brand disappeared in 2005. The pieces produced by this factory are exceptional for their decorative qualities as well as the simplicity of the decorative repertoire which testifies to the ability of the artisans to synthesize styles in order to please its connoisseur clientele, English as well as foreign. In the Victorian era, Minton supplied many international institutions. Its 19th century productions, combining different styles, are sought after by collectors.
