Pair of vintage wall sconces in sheet metal/Perriand/Mategot style.

For sale, a magnificent pair of vintage wall sconces with a minimalist and modernist design, dating from the 1960s-1970s. Designed from a single piece of folded and glossy white steel sheet, their clean lines immediately evoke the philosophy and aesthetics of the famous creations of Charlotte Perriand. They stand out with a superb grid perforation work of small squares (in the spirit of Mathieu Matégot's pieces), which casts a very graphic and warm play of shadows and light on the wall once the sconces are illuminated. Style: Mid-Century Modern / Modernist / Minimalist. Material: Original glossy white steel sheet. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The lacquer is very clean, healthy, and shiny. No major deformation. Electricity: Original functional system, equipped with its wall mounting frame and original connector for direct and easy connection. A character piece, timeless, ideal for adding an architectural and vintage touch to a hallway, living room, or bedroom.
