Pretty wash, red pencil drawing enhanced with watercolor in black and gold wood frame with protective glass: Made by a soldier 5 months after the beginning of the 1st world war: poilu sitting reading (in kepi and red pants) and soldier sweeping cobblestones. Dated and signed lower right in pencil "dec. 26, 1914" unidentified signature (eshalo and whalo or cohalo...). Format 15 X 23, passes everywhere black 2cm wide, total dimensions with frame 23.5 X 30 X 1.5cm, packed weight 1kg. Wear at the edge of the frame otherwise tbe. Wall attachment system on the back.
