Large, narrow antique workshop cupboard from France, made of solid pine. Originally used for practical storage in a workshop or similar work environment, the cupboard features a simple utilitarian construction and retains its original industrial character. It has three separate doors, each fitted with metal hinges and a metal handle. Behind the doors is a series of individual compartments, initially intended to organise tools, materials, or small workshop supplies. The pine has developed a naturally aged patina with marks, scratches, stains, and colour variations due to years of use. The original metal hardware also shows an aged patina. These signs of use are part of the cupboard's character and history. With its unusual height of 255 cm and narrow width of only 50 cm, the cupboard offers ample storage space while taking up little floor space. It can be used to store shoes, documents, collections, or other small items. The cupboard can also be used horizontally, providing additional placement and usage options. In a horizontal position, it can be placed in either direction, depending on whether you prefer the doors to open upwards or downwards.
