Teak highboard by Henning Kjaernulf for Vejle Stolefabrik, Denmark, 1960s

Danish vintage highboard in teak designed by Henning Kjaernulf for Vejle Stolefabrik, featuring beautifully figured sliding doors, subtle raised edges and a clean, architectural silhouette. The rich wood grain and slender, tapered legs bring warmth and lightness to its generous proportions. Four sliding doors reveal a beautifully finished oak interior with spacious shelved compartments and central pull-out trays. Four additional drawers along the bottom provide practical storage for cutlery, linens and everyday essentials. The original manufacturer’s stamp and Made in Denmark marking are present on the back. A refined and versatile piece of Scandinavian furniture, combining ample storage with an elegant appearance suited to both dining and living spaces.
