Chair style Gastone Rinaldi , Italy 1950

A lovely elegant easy chair, in italy around 1950. The beautifully curved seat rests on four gently tapered wooden legs. This all adds nicely to the luxurious style of the piece, fantastically complimented by the curved design of the seat and back. The hovering appearance of the backrests, thank to the open space between back and seat, is a wonderful finishing touch. A wonderful find of mid-century italian design that is ready to impress in any decor! Newly upholstered in high quality ocher bouclé fabric, soft to the touch. This elegant piece remains in very good, vintage condition with new upholstery and only minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. The structure is completely sound and strong, only has some user marks and wear but this works really well with the material and overall patina of the piece. The fabric is new and therefore in excellent condition!.
